The work of Ethiopia Education Endowment Fund is done through your
involvement and generosity.
We welcome contributions from
all who embrace the promise of Ethiopia, and care deeply about children,
youth and young adults, and their education.
Funds are
distributed quarterly. Allocation (subject to change) by school is 20% to BYES, 60% to BESS, 20% of funds to GBS,
and is expended as directed by EEEF, and the requested needs
from each school’s administration for:

Growth and
development of educational programs and curriculum, student
enrollment
and advancement, faculty recruitment and continuing
education, and resource
management

Student scholarships, and
purchasing supplies
-
Maintaining facilities – i.e. main educational building,
dormitories, chapel, dining,
administration
-
Servicing vehicles and farm
equipment, parts replacement and/or new purchases
-
Faculty salaries and benefits
-
Reinvestment of income

It Is Your Gift That Makes This Work Possible
Your gift, coupled with the gifts of many other individuals, makes
positive change possible.
We receive gifts of support from individuals, church groups,
congregations, and organizations, and invest monies with the Presbyterian Foundation.
In three years time, the Ethiopia Education Endowment Fund has grown to $400,000
(as of 1/07), and we've distributed more than $30,000 to our
schools in 2006.

Currently, Ethiopia Education Endowment Fund's
Development Committee underwrites all administrative costs, thereby disbursing
100% of your contributions directly to one or more of our schools, and their
programs.

You may contribute to EEEF where gifts are
most needed for any one of the
three institutions, or specific mission projects.
Donors may also be guided by their own interest and conviction toward
specifying how a portion of, or all of the income from their gifts be
used. Ethiopia Education Endowment Fund accepts such gifts for the purpose of its ministry, recommends how the gift be used, and coordinates with
Western Wollega Bethel Synod, and our schools on facilitating your gifts.
